Lindenhurst Health & Fitness Center's Pedaling for Parkinson's is a medical fitness program designed for adults with Parkinson's disease who wish to participate in low- to moderate-intensity exercise.
Recent studies show that stationary bicycle pedaling therapy at a high, steady cadence can significantly reduce the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and improve motor function. Our program combines rhythmic spinning with support and oversight from our Medical Fitness Specialists.
