Research has proven that exercise not only improves quality of life—with the right supervision, it can actually decrease the incidence of heart disease and diabetes.
That’s why we created Wellness 180°™, our nationally award-winning, multidisciplinary exercise program at Lindenhurst Health & Fitness Center. This medical fitness program is developed for people on the verge of health problems, or for those with one or more risk factors for heart disease and diabetes. A physician's referral is required prior to starting the program.
Our goal is to help you prevent future health problems with a healthier lifestyle—through exercise and a team approach, including work with a trainer and informational lectures by our Registered Dietitian. Past participants in Wellness 180° have succeeded in losing weight, lowering blood pressure, reducing blood sugar levels and improving cholesterol levels.
